Independence Day

I am a firm believer that everyone is put in our life for a reason. Some big reasons, some small reasons, some enjoyable reasons and some really hard reasons. In a different version of myself I learned first handed the deepest of meanings behind this holiday and all of the emotions that go along with it. Thanks to a handful of people (some really great humans and some far less great humans) I learned so many things about freedom, the privilege to be American, and the sacrifices that comes with that. I wish more Americans understood but I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to become an eternally better one myself.

In light of all the things I learned I will never pass up the opportunity to celebrate the men + women and this day in the way they deserve!
